Rap music,the child of the revolution that completely reformed
expression in popular music. Scratch,breakdance,DJ,loop,sampling:
how were these leading-edge technologies,and the almost primally
physical musical styles they evoke,born? By examining the black
music and black culture that have continually innovated popular
music throughout its history,we search for the connection between
body and sound.
