たかはし・ゆうじ
1938年東京生まれ。作曲家、ピアノ奏者、指揮者。 1958年桐朋学園短期大学作曲科中退。作曲を柴田南雄らに師事。
作品多数。作曲、演奏、指揮者としての近年の仕事をまとめた 『高橋悠治リアルタイム』1〜7、fontec、がある。 また、著作に、『カフカ／夜の時間』晶文社、1989、他がある。

［対談］音の中へ生まれる
高橋悠治×永沢 哲
いろいろな地域や風土で培われてきた伝統が、楽器というインタフェイスを通して立ち現れる瞬間。 演奏を聴く楽しみとは、そうした場所のさまざまに重なり合う記憶に出会う喜びでもある。
からだと楽器の僥倖ともいえる遭遇。 その時、時間と空間は同時に発生し、私たち自身も誕生する。
からだの中から生まれてくる音を求めて、その誕生の初原へ向かう。

Traditions that have grown up in various regions and climates appear through the
interface of musical instruments.The pleasure in hearing a performance is the
joy of meeting the layers of memories these places recall. The chance encounter
of body and instrument: in this instant both time and space appear, and we ourselves
are born. We search for the sound that is born out of our bodies, and for the
origin of that birth.
